NAA achieve Olympic success
The Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) has appointed NAA to undertake a feasibility study to determine the options for provision of residential accommodation for elite athletes at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park post Game. The requirement for elite athlete residential accommodation has been identified by the 26 Olympic Sport National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGB’s) and is supported by the British Olympic Association (BOA). OPLC is supportive of the requirement but first needs to understand:
- The market potential for accommodation across the sports
- The potential costs and risks associated with the provision of accommodation
- Current practice and benchmark good provision, and
- Assess the potential delivery options.
NAA will undertake the review and advise the OPLC and partners on the best way to proceed in meeting the request for residential accommodation for elite athletes.
